Psalm 119:89-176: Have you ever been going through something and just thought, “This is killing me.” Your heart may have been so broken you did not know where to turn?
Psalm 119 speaks the heart of one who has gone through a heart rending time as well and listen to what he said.
92 If your law had not been my delight,
I would have perished in my affliction.
93 I will never forget your precepts,
for by them you have given me life.
Wonder how God gave him life through HIs Word? Could it be there God’s word reminded him that the Sovereign Creator was still in charge and no matter how hard things on the outside were that he could have peace within knowing God’s hand was on him? Could it have been that through God’s word he read of other men and women who were faced with their own giants and saw how God had brought them through? Could it be that the wisdom contained in God’s word had given him insight into his own struggles and challenges. It could be any of these things, all of these things, or even other truths found in His word.
I don’t know what you are facing today, but the word of God you too can allow God to put it into the proper perspective. Nothing is outside of God’s ability to handle it
His ways are not our ways, but they are for our best and His glory
Because He created all things, He has authority over all things
He truly loves you and wants what is best for you.
Now you too can face your challenges and struggles with life from His word. God find more truth in His word and live in its bounty!
