Luke 11:1-13: Do you ever get frustrated with asking God over and over for things He just isn’t delivering? Do you ever wonder if it is just a lost cause? Luke 11 gives you the answer. 9“So I say to you, keep asking, and it will be given to you. Keep searching, and you will find. Keep knocking, and the door will be opened to you. 10For everyone who asks receives, and the one who searches finds, and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.” Sometimes He uses our persistence to make us ready and willing for when the doors do open. Sometimes He changes our hearts and we realize that what we are asking for isn’t His will. Sometimes we get so hungry for what we are asking that when it comes we weep with joy because that long awaited desire is finally fulfilled. His timing is not our timing. His thoughts and plans are not ours. He knows what is best and we can trust Him. Easier said that done but that is why it is called faith.
