Who Is Jesus to You?

Leviticus 27, Proverbs 25-26, Mark 14:53-65, 2 Corinthians 8:1-15, Psalm 93: Who is Jesus to you? On this weekend when many will be celebrating I think that is a valid question. Is He the One and Only Son sent from the Father? Is He the King of Kings and Lord of Lords? Is He the your Savior? What you do with your life really answers the question much better than just your words. If He is your Savior then you no longer live and He is alive and at work in you. If He is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords then your every action must come in submission to Him. If He is the One and Only Son of God then His authority supersedes any other authority or power and everything He said and everything He did are true. If that be the case then EVERYTHING changes! He holds our world, our present, our past and our future together!
He is all of these things and because He is He can make the claim He made in Mark 14:61″Are you the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?” 62And Jesus said, “I am, and you will see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of Power, and coming with the clouds of heaven.”
Because Jesus is all of these things and so much more, today I choose to worship Him. I choose to humble myself before Him. I choose to obey His commands. I choose to honor Him not just on Easter weekend, but every day my lungs fill with air and my heart pumps. I choose to life the verse, “To live is Christ, to die is gain!” To Him be honor and glory and praise today and forever more!
